Boston Logan Terminal A

Terminal A was redesigned and opened again to public in 2005.


The facilities are split into the Main Terminal (boarding gates A1 to A11) and Satellite Concourse (boarding gates A13 to A22) buildings.

The Main Terminal and the Satellite buildings are connected by underground walkways.



Logan Airport consists of two buildings: The Main Terminal and a Satellite Terminal. It has 21 boarding gates.


Main Terminal: it has gates from A1 to A11 and it has two different Sky Clubs owned by Delta (one located in the satellite building and the other one in the main terminal). Delta Airlines is the major airline at TA and currently operates in 16 gates.


Satellite Concourse: It has gates from A13 to A22.


Both buildings are connected by an underground walkway.




The Terminal Main terminal consist of two levels: Level 1 and Level 2.

Level 1: This is the Arrivals level. This level contains the baggage claims 1 to 4 and Ground Transportation: Logan Express, Scheduled Bus, Silver Line, Rental Car Center and Blue Line, Airport Shuttles, Taxis, Charter Bus, Limos, Shared Vans.


There is an area reserved for pick up passengers.


Available services: ATM, Travelex Currency Exchange.


Level 2: This is the Departures level. From this level it is possible to access to boarding gates A1 to A11, to Satellite Concourse S2 (gates A13 – A22). They are connected by an underground walkway.

At the center of the concourse there is a food court and retail shops.


There’s a walkway in the ground level which connects to the parking garage, Hilton Hotel, Terminal E and its parking lots.


Available services: ATMs, shoe shine, Travelex Currency Exchange.




The Concourse Satellite is formed by three levels.

There is an area for Passengers Drop-Off as well as some services as Banks, Currency Exchange (Travelex), etc.


As a curiosity, this terminal was the first one in all the country to obtain the certified LEED, a Certification System Sustainable Buildings.


Other services: Children’s play areas, baby care facilities, drinking water, information desk, mobile charging stations, pet relief areas, rest zones, spa and salon services.

Boston Airport Terminal A has at their passenger’s disposal the following lounges:


  • Delta Sky Club: Location: Terminal A, Main Terminal, Airside, Gate A7.
  • Delta Sky Club: Location: Terminal A, Satellite Terminal, Gate A18, third floor.
  • American Admirals Club: Location: Terminal A, Airside, Close to Gates B4-5.
